Estelle Silberman
Events Manager
Estelle Silberman spent her early life watching the seasons unfold in her family’s Brooklyn flower shop just blocks from Prospect Park. With each delivery from local growers and greenhouses, Estelle began developing her precise eye for style. Upon graduating Hunter College with a degree in art history, Estelle began overseeing the needs of the shop’s wedding clients and managing the details of social events.
After taking a short break to explore Europe, Asia, and South America, Estelle returned to New York to work along side top-named photographers and editors as a prop stylist. She thrived on the challenges and diversity of each day – be it finding the perfect antique teacup or perfectly wrapping hundreds of gift boxes.
Missing the feel of dirt between her fingers, Estelle realized that despite being a Brooklyn girl, she was also a country girl at heart. In 2008, Estelle moved into a 100-year-old gingerbread house in Westchester and joined the Blue Hill at Stone Barns’ team. Within a few short months Estelle was promoted to her current position where she marries her keen sense of design with her extensive event experience. But, what she loves most is that she spends her days at a place where she and her neighbors can experience the beauty of the natural world. And, being able to say, "I work on a farm" is pretty cool.
