Franco Serafin

General Manager – Blue Hill


Originally from Adelaide, Australia, Franco and his wife, Juliette, came to
 New York in the early 1990's. After working at Gramercy Tavern for 5 years,
 he met Dan and David Barber, who asked him to help open Blue Hill in the
 bottom of a brownstone in the West Village.

As Blue Hill's original General Manager, Franco has enjoyed setting a high standard 
of service.  His daughter, Ruby, born just before Blue Hill
opened, and she now loves to play at answering phones and taking 
reservations.
