Robert was introduced to farming and fine dining at a young age. He grew up in his father's Westchester, New York restaurant, lending a helping hand while observing and learning the business. He also spent much time planting and harvesting in his grandfather's nearby vegetable garden.
His official farm-to-table introduction occurred while working in a restaurant in his Virginia college town. After graduating with a degree in Communication, he continued his career in restaurants, working for Brinker International and Mortons restaurant group.
In 2007 Robert joined the Blue Hill at Stone Barns' team where he has quickly became a familiar face in the dining room. Whether arranging special hotel reservations or orchestrating a marriage proposal, Robert adds a personal touch to any dining experience.
