A native New Yorker, Matthew was raised in Westchester and then later rural Sussex County, NJ. He graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in Economics. After beginning his career on Capitol Hill, Matt returned to New York City, and entered a profession that he truly loved—hospitality. For over 25 years, Matt has worked with the city’s finest venues included The St. Regis, The Essex House, Windows on the World and The Rainbow Room. As a former Senior Event Specialist and Director of Catering, Matt has a vast knowledge of fine food, wine and uncompromising service.
Matt and his husband split their time between a Murray Hill apartment and their home in Litchfield County, CT. The perfect mix of city and country allows them to enjoy New York theatre and restaurants as well as the bucolic relaxing world two hours North where they enjoy entertaining friends and tending their garden filled with vegetables, herbs and flowers.
