Born and educated in New York City, the Hudson Valley has always held a strong attraction for Peter. The balance found here, equal access to nature and the city, has mirrored what Peter enjoys most about Blue Hill at Stone Barns: the search for restaurant excellence in a setting deeply connected to the land.
The experience that Peter acquired as a manager in such New York City landmarks as Temple Bar, Gotham Bar & Grill and Dock's Oyster Bar, has been put to use in a constantly changing, and enriching environment.
Since joining Blue Hill, Peter and his wife Corinna, have become parents to a daughter, Annabelle, and a son, Harry. As Peter explores ways to help the restaurant thrive and sustain, he finds gratitude that his work may contribute to his children's connection to a sustainable and happy future.
